The Lerner Shops | Leslie Wexner | Meshulam Riklis | Timeline

Jeffrey Epstein’s second arrest has become an international scandal. On a personal level it has encouraged me (once again) to voice my experience as a “sex slave” to a friend of his and some of the other powerful men caught in the Epstein circle. Leslie Wexner, Bill Cilnton, Donald Trump are all friends of my abuser. From 1987 through 1993 I was the personal sex slave to Meshulam Riklis’s son Ira Riklis. My many attempts to tell my story either through attorneys, the media or my own efforts have until now been repressed. Using the information I gathered from my years with Riklis I have been connecting the Epstein dots. The Lerner Shops sale by Meshulam Riklis to Leslie Wexner has some interesting nuggets in the larger scheme of the Epstein story.

This is a timeline:

1918 - The Lerner brothers, blouse manufacturers, opens the first Lerner Shops store in New York City; 18 more shops open later that year

1930 - The first West Coast Lerner Shops location opens in Los Angeles, California

1985 - Limited Brands purchases the company

1992 - The company changes its name to Lerner New York

1995 - The company changes its name to New York & Company, one of several labels Lerner New York carries

2002 - New York & Company becomes an independent company when it is purchased from Limited Brands by Bear Stearns Merchant Banking[2]

2004 - New York & Company goes public[3]

2005 - Flagship NY&C store opens in New York City at 58th Street and Lexington Avenue

2006 - E-commerce site nyandcompany.com is launched

2010 - The New York & Company Outlet division is launched

2012 - NY&C Beauty, including fragrance, lip, and nail products, is launched

2013 - The Eva Mendes Collection,[4] an exclusive collection designed in collaboration with actress Eva Mendes, is launched nationwide

2018 - Kate Hudson intros her line and is Ambassador for their Soho Jeans line. https://wwd.com/business-news/retail/kate-hudson-partners-with-new-york-co-for-rtw-collection-1202776299/

2018 - Rebranding of New York & Co to RTW Retailwinds https://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20180911005804/en/New-York-Company-Announces-Rebranding-Transformation

Jeffrey Epstein’s former employer, Bear Stearns, puchases The Lerner Shops in 2002 and renames them as New York & Company (NY&C). Bear Stearns then takes the company public. (On a personal note I think this seems either contrived or coincidental). In 2002 Epstein was still, according to Vicky Ward’s article ‘The Talented Mr. Epstein’ still Wexner’s “partner”.
