In 1992 Leslie Wexner, multi-billionaire owner of L Brands which includes among its holdings Victoria’s Secret and Abercrombie & Fitch, sells Jeffrey Epstein the over-sized guest house on his massive 336-acre estate in New Albany, Ohio for $3.5 million. It is a 23-room, 10,600 square foot manse designed like the United States Capitol in Washington, DC.
In 1998 Wexner buys it back for $8 million. Epstein uses the funds to purchase Little St. James for which he pays $7.95 million. However, this merely scratches the surface of these men who, in time, will be known as ‘The Merchants of Death’.
