When I made the discovery several decades ago that Meshulam Riklis, my abuser’s father, was given the government project (with NASA) to make the spacesuits for the Apollo 11 moon mission, I was stunned. The suits were prominently worn by Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin and Michael Collins.
Playtex, a Riklis-owned entity, made the space walking outfits.
The Riklis owned corporation was also responsible for the death of a young wife and mother of two, whose use of their super-absorbent tampons caused her to die from toxic shock syndrome. Frankly, there are a number of deaths associated with this family and their holdings.
To present day they continued to be involved in providing NASA and other government agencies with a variety of products and services.
However, let’s focus on the Apollo 11 mission because it’s the most well-known of all the so-called ‘moon’ trips taken during the time Richard Nixon sat in the oval office.
