List of things to help people displaced by the California Fires

If you are in or near the area where people who have been evacuated are, or know someone who is, the following is a list of things they will need right now. This is how you can help. Please forward to anyone who can help.

LIST OF THINGS PEOPLE NEED

Hand sanitizer (essential when conserving water or shortage of water)

Towels

Water

Canned food

Tampons

Aspirin / Tylenol / Advil

Band aides

First aid kits

Baby diapers

Adult diapers

Plastic utensils (spoons and forks >> no knives)

Paper plates

Toilet paper

Paper towels

New shoes >> sneakers of various sizes / Flip flops

Socks of various sizes = men’s/women’s

(No razors for obvious reasons)

Soap

Toys for the children to occupy their time, coloring books, etc. (NO large things, no stuffed animals >> these are too large for a family or mom to carry around – small things, cards, etc).

Clean clothing for children, women, men. (These can be donated from people so worn, not old.) **If you would not wear the clothing yourself DO NOT GIVE**

Lysol, cleaning supplies (U will need volunteers to keep your premises clean so as to avoid anyone from becoming ill).

DON’T FORGET: People need Plastic Totes to keep and carry their items.

Women’s toiletry kits

School supplies

Toilet paper

Latex gloves

Totes or plastic bags (not grocery store bags, but sturdy bags).

BABY

Only ready to use infant formula. NO POWDERED formula.
